What you should know
In Vienna, housing allowance is granted by the MA 50. It depends on household income, the number of people and housing costs. In Lower Austria, the state provides support through the housing subsidy (Wohnzuschuss) or housing allowance (Wohnbeihilfe).
The allowance is usually granted for a limited period. To avoid an interruption, an application for continued payment must be made in good time.
How we help you
- Checking which subsidy applies to your home
- Filling in the application (online or on paper)

The documents you need
Please bring the following documents, if you have them. If something is missing, we will find a solution together.

- Proof of income for all household members (last 12 months)
- Registration certificates (Meldezettel) of everyone in the household
- Photo ID or residence permit
